Island Eco-Scapes can help you identify what’s working and what isn’t. We will give your yard a new face by removing improperly placed trees/shrubs, relocating them if possible. Create nicely shaped beds while mending existing soil to help the plants look great for years to come. This plan may include adding/repairing an irrigation system, as well as incorporating landscape lighting into the yard.
CONSTRUCTION FROM BLUEPRINT
Did you get a professional design from a landscape designer/ architect, but don’t know how to start implementing the plan? Island Eco-Scapes will take on the role of Project Supervisor – organizing all trades required to complete a job, including electricians, carpenters, plumbers and concrete workers. This makes the job-site run a lot smoother. Island Eco-Scapes will solve problems that weren’t evident in the design process. All changes will be discussed with the landscape designer/homeowner before taking place.

Spring Start-Up
Island Eco-Scapes will ensure your system is ready to go when the hot weather sets in. We will recharge your system, check all the heads, adjust sprays, re-program timers according to Nanaimo water restriction by-laws, and test each zone.
Winterization
In the fall, Island Eco-Scapes will winterize your system by shutting off the water to the main lines, blowing air through each zone, turning off the computer
Money Saving upgrades
Upgrading your nozzles to conserve water/save money. Installing a rain sensor so you’re not wasting money on water when it's raining.
Garden Consultations
Our consultations range from the renovation of existing landscapes to entirely new installations. Drawing on our knowledge and experience of working around Nanaimo, we’ll work with you to articulate and bring to life your ideas and concepts for your landscape and outdoor space. During your on-site consultation, our Landscape experts will discuss your list of wants and needs, review site conditions (such as access, drainage, and exposure), as well as any project concerns (including preliminary budgets and timelines). Our consultations are important to us, and we take the time to truly understand your needs and the microenvironment of your garden. The result of the consultation process is a complete understanding of the work to be done. You can choose to let us guide you as you carry out the work, alternatively, we can carry out some or all of the work to achieve the garden you deserve.
